The Department keeps a register of the Enchanted. Step through and you become a member of Evernyth — free — and you're owed a Certificate of Enchantment: proof, in aged parchment and wax, that you were never ordinary. It takes a moment, and it's how the door knows you.

Come to file a mishap? The Department can only open a case for someone who's in the system — so become a member first, and the form will be waiting.
